Daily flights from Cambridge to Amsterdam and Dublin are to stop on 25 October. The services started in May but according to passenger reports never attracted significant numbers.

Happier times. Steve Jones, Airport Managing Director, welcomes Christine Ourmières, CEO of CityJet
A spokesman said: "Working closely with Cambridge International Airport, we have taken the decision to discontinue CityJet routes from Cambridge based on shifting customer demand, and scheduling changes for the 2014/2015 winter season.
"Re-scheduling takes place as a normal course of business on all airlines and is nothing unusual. Customers are of course inconvenienced by this and we make every effort to ensure they are looked after.
Steve Jones, Managing Director of the airport, said: "This has been our best summer on record with over 10,000 passengers welcomed through our doors in the last four months. While the summer schedule for CityJet ends on October 25 other flights and services to and from Cambridge continue, including the popular winter service to the French/Swiss Alps and summer service to Verona and the Italian Lakes, as well as services to Jersey in the Channel Islands."
