The Heathrow merry-go-round with the opening of Terminal 2, The Queen’s Terminal, seems to have gone extremely well, in spite of its complexity. The old terminal will still be active on some routes until near the end of 2015.By the change of the timetables, 26 October, all the former T1 tenants will have moved out, with the exception of El Al and British Airways. The Israeli airline will transfer to T4 by Easter next year, and will also open a King David Lounge in its new home.
With British Airways all that is left are the routes to Amman, Baku, Beirut, Belfast City, Cairo, Dublin, Luxembourg, Lyon, Marseilles and Rotterdam. Which go to T3 and what finishes up at T5 has still to be confirmed. www.heathrowairport.com/flight-information/which-terminal
