Paris hotel

It is not only in the UK that prestigious, and very sound, classic buildings are finding a new life.  The Banke Hotel, built on an old prestigious bank headquarters has opened in Paris.  Very close to the city centre of the French capital, in the middle of the Opera area, it sits in one of the most luxurious commercial areas of Paris.

The hotel has 94 rooms and suites and two restaurants, a bar with live music, a spa, hammam and a fitness area.  Free wi-fi is provided.

The Banke Hotel can be recognized by its majestic exterior façade, reminiscing of the Belle Epoque of Paris.  It also hosts an exquisite private ethnic jewel collection with original pieces from Papua New Guinea, China, India, Tibet and Africa.  The public rooms reflect the classical style whilst the accommodation has full air conditioning, large flat screen TVs and the latest in technology.    www.hotelbanke.com
