SITA webspan

Readers are invited to involve themselves in an international webspan Wednesday 1 October at 16:00 British Summer Time (11:00 Eastern Time US) in which SITA, the airline industry information technology company, is sponsoring a discussion involving Nigel Pickford, Market Insight Director of SITA, and Kerem Kiziltunc, CIO of Turkish Airlines.

Passengers are no doubt getting more demanding!  The average passenger today is tech-savvy and laden with mobile devices.  The question is should the industry continue to invest in websites? Or kiosks?  Or does it invest more in mobile? And if so, in which services?   And should it accelerate strategies around wearables?

SITA has involved 6,000 passengers worldwide to discover what they really think about technology in travel with its Passenger Trend Forecast.  Their opinions and travel habits are representative of 76% of total global passenger traffic.  So their view is important.

Listening to this webinar will provide new insight on:  Passengers' current satisfaction levels; Technologies that passengers value the most today, and for tomorrow; The passenger appetite for additional mobile services, and finally whether passengers are ready with wearables.   https://event.on24.com
