Busy easyJet & Spring 2015

If you want to travel on easyJet in the spring months of April and May 2015 bookings are now open.  The Luton-based airline has placed on-line reservations from 29 March to 31 May.

easyJet has bases across 11 British airports and currently has over 700 routes on sale to destinations across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Russia – 379 of which originate in the UK.

For the business traveller the airline is promoting its Flexi fare offering unlimited date changes, 20kg hold luggage, up front seat selection, easyJet Plus bag drop, fast track security, speedy boarding, all at an inclusive price.

New routes for next year include Belfast and Gatwick to Reykjavik, Edinburgh to Funchal, Glasgow to Marrakech, Manchester to Funchal, and Luton to Basel, Copenhagen, Lyon, Munich, Naples and Rome.

The airline says that last Friday (5 September) it carried its highest ever number of passengers on a single day, 210,000+ on 1,451 flights. It has also published its figures for August which produced a record figure of 6.6m customers at a load factor of 94.2% and a rolling 12 months at 64m and 90.3%.  www.easyjet.com
