Manchester Airports Group (MAG) has extended its luxury premium lounge brand, Escape, with the launch of a brand new offering at East Midlands Airport.
Marking the latest phase in the airport’s £12m terminal redevelopment programme at the airport, the new Escape Lounge provides an improved and increased space for passengers looking for an area away from the hustle and bustle of the airport terminal, before they fly.
Originally launched in Manchester Airport’s Terminal 2, MAG has successfully grown its Escape Lounge brand initially in Manchester – adding a second lounge in Terminal 1 in 2010 and in Terminal 3 in 2013. In addition to East Midlands, MAG is set to add a fifth Escape Lounge, at Stansted Airport, later this year.
The Escape Lounge at East Midlands Airport will provide passengers with a selection of complimentary food and drink, free wi-fi access and a range of newspapers and magazines.
The lounge will open 04:00-20:00 daily with complimentary and paid-for food and beverage choices. Other facilities will include a quiet area, comfortable seating, an eating area and window booths.
Entry to the new Escape Lounge is £18.99 per adult (12 years and over) and £12.50 per child when pre-booked online and £22.50 per adult and £15.00 per child on the door. www.eastmidlandsairport.com
