Hilton partners with Garuda

Hilton HHonors, the loyalty programme for Hilton Worldwide’s eleven hotel brands, has announced a new partnership with Garuda Indonesia, the national carrier of Indonesia.

The partnership allows members of both GarudaMiles and Hilton HHonors to earn points when they stay at more than 4,100 hotels within the Hilton Worldwide portfolio.

"Indonesia is a key, growing market within Asia, and we are continuously looking for new ways to reward the increasing number of Hilton HHonors members that travel to the region," said Mark Weinstein, vice president, Commercial Services Strategy, Loyalty Programs & Partnerships.

"Aligning with Garuda Indonesia offers members more options to earn points and airline miles that can be used to create memorable travel experiences."

Through this partnership, members of both programmes can earn 10 HHonors Base Points plus one GarudaMiles mile for every US dollar spent during their stay at any Hilton property. (Stays at Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites and Home2 Suites are only eligible to earn up to 100 GarudaMiles miles.)

Amelia Nasution – Vice President Customer Relationship Management, Garuda Indonesia said: "Through this partnership we are giving our valued members even more ways to enjoy their travel experience, either in the air or on the ground."
