Air Canada into Heathrow Terminal 2

When H M The Queen opens Terminal 2 at Heathrow today (23 June), one country where she is Head of State will be represented.  Air Canada last week moved across from T1 to the new gateway and becomes the second airline, after United its Joint Venture partner, to become operational.

Air Canada now has 11 scheduled flight turnarounds at Terminal 2.

Air Canada’s check-in and baggage drop off are located in Zone A of the check-in lobby and offer the latest technology.   Customers have a choice of check-in methods: quick and easy self-service kiosks, fast bag-drop desks and dedicated full-service check-in desks.  The new terminal also offers a wide variety of shopping, dining and seating options in a light, airy and spacious building.

Over the next six months, the remaining 21 Star Alliance member carriers serving Heathrow will progressively move to the new terminal.  Air Canada customers will be able to take advantage of even more convenient connections to and from flights operated by other Star Alliance partners, in addition to codeshare partner Aer Lingus.  www.aircanada.com
