Helsinki Airport sauna and lounge

Finnair is nearing completion of a new sauna and Premium Lounge at Helsinki Airport due to open 1 July.  It is near Gate 36 in the non-Schengen area of the airport.

The Premium Lounge, complements the original Finnair Lounge and is designed for Finnair Platinum and Gold Finnair Plus members and other oneworld top-tier customers.   It is intended as a showcase for classic Nordic design.  High-quality complimentary meals and drinks are available. The 407sq metres space features different areas for working and relaxation and comfortably seats up to 122 guests.

As part of the overall upgrade in lounge services in Helsinki, the customers of both the Premium Lounge and the adjoining original Lounge will also enjoy access to completely new private shower suites, as well as a Finnish sauna.  Towels and forest berry-based shampoos, shower gels and lotions from Finland are provided. www.finnair.com
