My Lounge – Gatwick Airport

No.1 Traveller will open My Lounge, a new take on the pre-flight lounging experience, at Gatwick’s North Terminal, in July.  The younger brother of the award-winning No.1 Lounge it will offer the amenities of a traditional lounge, without the formality.  It is sited on the ground floor of the terminal (turn left as you enter) adjoining the existing No 1 Traveller lounge.

There will be a range of complimentary food available from the Kitchen Counter including fresh fruit, croissants, porridge, cereals, granola bars and loaf cakes for breakfast and at other times pretzels, pitta chips, warm doughnuts, flavoured popcorns and fresh fruit.  Visitors can purchase a shareboard for £10.

All soft and alcoholic drinks are included and you only pay extra for DIY Bellinis.  Pour a draft beer or a Sauvignon and graze on a range of nibbles, from olives and crunchy, chopped veg, to My Lounge’s own flavoured popcorns or warm doughnuts with dipping sauce.  Find a spot in the study, the kitchen, the lounge or the den. The Games Room features table football and PlayStation.  My Lounge has free wi-fi and charging phone facilities, big screen TVs and daily newspapers.  Price is £16 in advance (£18 on the door) and £10 for children 2-11.  www.bookmylounge.com
