The Royal Aeronautical Society’s annual International Flight Crew Training Conference takes place at the organisation's Hyde Park Corner headquarters in London, 24/25 September. Featured is an examination of the work undertaken by the International Pilot Training Consortium (IPTC) which will seek to determine what further effort is required and under what auspices it should be conducted. The Conference will address the issues facing the flight crew training community from the perspectives of aircraft operators; aircraft manufacturers; makers, users and providers of training systems; researchers; and regulators.
Papers will be presented by leading experts and workshops will discuss the IPTC work to date, the outstanding issues and how best to take forward further work. The Conference will conclude with an open forum giving every delegate an opportunity to table proposals to progress any relevant work. Some 200 delegates are expected from around the world. http://aerosociety.com/events
