Doha – London ‘Business One’

Qatar Airways has introduced a premium class only daily service ‘Business One’ between Doha and Heathrow.

The new daily service flies from Doha to Heathrow Terminal 4 using an Airbus A319 configured with a single aisle, 2+2 seating configuration, offering 40 premium Business Class seats.  The British Airways A318 operation from London City to New York Kennedy carries just 32 passengers, a smaller aircraft specially licensed to operate out of the short dockland runway.

Qatar Airways currently operates five daily flights to Heathrow and the additional sixth all-Business Class makes it the largest operator into the Gulf area in terms of flights.  Shortly it will also introduce the A380 at the other end of the scale with 517 seats.

Qatar Airways’ A319 seat has one of the highest specifications for Business Class travel of any airline.  Passengers can remain in touch with their friends and business associates on the ground through the SMS mobile texting GSM and GPRS service on board this aircraft.  It will have an aura of exclusiveness that no other Heathrow airline can offer.  The A319 will operate out of Terminal 4 and passengers will be able to avail themselves of the airline's highly rated executive lounges both in London and Doha.  www.qatarairways.com
