Air Canada rouge – Dublin

Rouge, the Air Canada ‘leisure’ carrier, has inaugurated its year-round non-stop service from Dublin to Toronto.  Initially it will operate four weekly flights but will increase to daily for the summer peak from 23 June.

The route is flown by a 280-seat Boeing 767-300ER featuring a two-cabin configuration with 24 Premium rouge seats.

Air Canada rouge was launched last year and predominantly serves leisure destinations in Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico and the United States.  Europe includes Athens, Barcelona, Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, Manchester, Nice, Rome and Venice.  Destinations in the Caribbean take in Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic and Jamaica.

The airline operates 13 Airbus A319s and four of the Boeings.  The Airbus has 16 more seats than a regular Air Canada Airbus A319.  The Boeing 767-300ER carries 53 more passengers than standard Air Canada Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. www.aircanada.com/rouge/en
