London Theatres

Visitors to London, and residents too, will be pleased to learn that the Society of London Theatre (SOLT) is again running a special discount scheme during the traditionally quiet month of January, until 13 February.

The annual promotion features over 55 musicals, plays, dance productions, entertainments and family shows all offering seats from as little as £10 so everyone has the chance to experience what it describes as “the magic of London theatre”.

There is a host of shows to choose from including long-running West End hits Jersey Boys, Mamma Mia! and War Horse, alongside newcomers Stephen Ward, The Commitments and From Here To Eternity, as well as lots of family-friendly shows such as Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain Part Two!, The Gruffalo and Disney’s The Lion King.

If you are driving into the West End to see a show, then take advantage of Q-Park's Theatreland Parking Scheme, saving 50% off your car parking for up to 24 hours.  The congestion charge covers the West End, City and Lambeth/Southwark area and starts at 18:00 Monday to Friday.  Car parks included are Burlington Street, Chinatown, Oxford Street, Park Lane/Marble Arch, Pimlico, Soho and Trafalgar Square. www.solt.co.uk
