Rosewood London

Once the headquarters of Pearl Assurance, and previously trading under various names, the Rosewood London (hotel) has opened on High Holborn.

Following an £85m investment to transform the 1914 Edwardian Belle Epoque building, the original architectural features have been painstakingly restored by an expert team of craftsmen, including the magnificent grand Pavonazzo marble staircase which rises up through all seven storeys of the hotel beneath the 166ft cupola.

Rosewood is an all American ultra-luxury brand with 18 properties in nine countries, including The Carlyle in New York and the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas.

The hotel offers 262 guestrooms and 44 suites which are amongst the largest in the capital including the Grand Manor House Wing accessed via a private elevator and its own street entrance.

All suites have access to the hotel's Manor Club, a comfortable, private retreat offering a personal butler and concierge service as well as a menu of cocktails and light dishes whilst every room offers thoughtful amenities including a sound system with docking station, 46” LED satellite television, in-room private bar, Nespresso machine and fine Italian bedding. www.rosewoodhotels.com/london‎
