BA LCY winter programme

British Airways has introduced its winter schedule from London City Airport this week with more capacity and frequency to some of the most popular seasonal destinations.  Madrid and Stockholm go to three per weekdaily.

New routes launched earlier this year to Dusseldorf (Germany) and Granada (Spain) will continue to operate through the winter and with Ibiza up to five and Palma daily.

The popular ski routes of Geneva (Switzerland) and Chambery (France) will start again on 14 December, although snow sports enthusiasts can also fly on the new Granada service to the excellent ski resorts of the Sierra Nevada mountains.

The airline points out that its hand baggage only and new semi-flex fare options are available at London City Airport.  Customers choosing the cabin baggage only fare can continue to take advantage of the carrier’s generous allowance (56cm x 45cm x 25cm), plus a handbag or laptop bag.

The semi-flexible fare gives customers all the benefits of a standard fare including free booking changes on the day of departure from the same airport to the same destination, the ability to select a seat two days prior to travel and no-charge fee prior to the day of travel. www.ba.com
