Kuwait for Best Western

Best Western is the latest hotel group to focus on Kuwait (see BTN 13 May)

Named after the part of the city state where it is located the new 18-storey Best Western Mahboula hotel offers 96 rooms including 16 suites, with stunning views across the glittering Arabian Gulf.  All guest rooms have complimentary internet access.

With two dedicated floors of conference and banqueting space the hotel is focussing on the corporate market but also offers a swimming pool and gymnasium for those requiring leisure activities.

Commenting on the hotel’s launch, Glenn de Souza, Best Western’s Vice President of International Operations – Asia & the Middle East, said that it marked the latest stage in the company’s rapid Middle Eastern expansion plan.

"The Middle Eastern region offers tremendous opportunities for Best Western”, Mr de Souza said.  “Last year we debuted in Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Oman, as well as returning to Bahrain.  Our launch in Kuwait continues this impressive pattern of growth.  We are confident that travellers across the region will welcome our trusted values of comfort, convenience and excellent service”, he added.

Best Western now operates in seven Middle Eastern countries – Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel.  This portfolio is expected to more than triple to 22 hotels in the next few years. www.bestwestern.com
