The reopening on 25 April of Marseille’s most grand residence, the Hotel Dieu, as the The Marseille InterContinental – Hotel Dieu.

Perched atop Le Panier, the oldest part of France's second largest city, the property is a majestic XVIIIth century building containing impressive staircases, vaulted passage ways and large terraces.  It overlooks the city and offers spectacular views of the Vieux Port and the iconic Notre Dame de la Garde Basilica.  It is a listed building.
 
The InterContinental Marseille offers 194 rooms, including 22 suites, a number of them having imposing private terraces.  With its booming tourism and cruise industry, Marseille has been nominated European Capital of Culture in 2013. www.ihg.com/hotels
