Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport has a new Etihad Airways executive lounge in Terminal 2. It is designed to meet the surging passenger numbers on the airline’s services to and from the French capital which is now double daily and has grown 55% over the past 18 months. Etihad is the only carrier on the route, which it code shares with Air France/KLM.
The lounge offers a selection of elegant dining options, including an exclusive à la carte menu, comfortable relaxation space, business facilities, luxurious bathrooms, including shower facilities, and family entertainment areas.
Under the care of distinguished French art curator, Bertrand Epaud, the Paris Lounge will also feature a prestigious collection of original artworks including exquisite glass vases, bottles and fish sculptures by world famous French glass blower Jean-Claude Novaro, three-dimensional plexigraphies of butterflies and skylines by well-established French artist Jean-Francois Larrieu, and original Arabic artworks by Iraqi calligrapher Hassan Massoudy.
Aubrey Tiedt, Etihad Airways Vice President Guest Services, said: “Knowing that lounges are a fundamental part of today’s travel experience, we have invested a great deal of time ensuring our lounges are distinctive and embrace the warmth and generosity of Etihad premium hospitality”. www.etihad.com
