Airbus A 380 orders

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has confirmed up an order for 25 more wide-body aircraft from Airbus, comprising five A380s, and 20 A350-900s.

With this commitment the total firm A380 order book now stands at 262, just under 100 delivered and production now running at 30 a year.  Emirates is the largest operator with 90 on order.  Singapore Airlines has 19 in service.

The Airbus A350 XWB is due to make its maiden flight later this year with sales standing at 582 from 34 customers.  It is currently only available with Rolls-Royce Trent engines. www.airbus.com
