Motel One Edinburgh-Royal is a conversion of original 16-18 century properties and great care has gone into conserving as much of the historic walls as possible.  The hotel interior boasts luxurious pieces such as the now classic Arne Jacobsen turquoise egg chair (which will feature a special Motel One tartan print for the Edinburgh hotel) and the distinctive Arco lamp by Achille Castiglioni.  All rooms are equipped with double beds, flat screen TV, air-conditioning and an en suite bathroom.  Free wi-fi access is available in the communal One Lounge.  The hub of the hotel, the One Lounge is a lobby, bar and cafeteria rolled into one!  iPADs are also provided upon the guests’ request. www.motel-one.com
