Radisson Blu in Germany

Rezidor Hotel Group has announced two new Radisson Blu hotels in Germany.

The Radisson Blu Hotel Dortmund will be re-branded in January 2013; the Radisson Blu Hotel Bremen will follow in June 2013.  The hotels will be softly renovated over a period of 18 months.  Both were previously Hiltons.
 
The new Radisson Blu Dortmund is located in the city’s peripheral area, close to the Westfalen soccer stadium and the fair and exhibition centre Westfalenhalle.  It is seven miles from the airport and two miles from downtown Dortmund.  All 190 guest rooms – among them five junior suites – are equipped with free high-speed internet.  There are two restaurants, a bar, 15 event rooms, a wellness area including gym, indoor pool, sauna and solarium.
 
The Radisson Blu Bremen is located on the famous Boettcherstrasse, Bremen’s historic shopping street in the heart of the old town.  The port lies close to the hotel and both the exhibition centre and airport are close by.  The property offers 235 rooms – among them 15 junior suites – and also features two restaurants and a bar, 14 meeting rooms, and once again, a wellness area including gym, indoor pool, sauna and solarium. www.radissonblu.com
