Hampton by Hilton at York & Burton

Hampton Hotels, Hilton’s global brand of nearly 1,900 mid-priced properties, has opened in York.  Ideally located in the city centre opposite York Railway Station, the hotel is within walking distance from the busy shopping area and local attractions, perfect for both business and leisure guests.  Nearby is the world famous York National Railway Museum.

Victoria Burnham, General Manager, Hampton by Hilton York, said: “We are now proud to welcome guests to the new hotel in the great city of York, and look forward to offering guests the brand’s world renowned service and amenities.  Guests staying at our hotel will enjoy a prime location during their visit, with easy access to local attractions such as York Minster, the largest Gothic Cathedral in Northern Europe, Jorvik Viking Centre and the renowned Betty’s Tearooms”.  By train the city is under two hours from London.

Also now open is the Hampton by Hilton St Georges Park, adjoining the new FA training centre.  It has 84 bedrooms and extensive conference facilities, up to a maximum of 500 seated.  Both offer free high-speed internet access throughout, free hot breakfast and 24-hour snack area featuring light dishes. www.hampton.com
