Rotana in the Gulf

Following the announcement earlier in the year of a US$750 investment programme Abu Dhabi-based Rotana, which claims to be the leading hotel management company in the Middle East and Africa, is extending its Gulf portfolio with an additional nine properties by 2013.

Rotana will open its first properties in Bahrain and Oman, its second hotel in Qatar and will extend its portfolio in the UAE by an additional six developments, three of which are scheduled to open in October; Al Ghurair Rayhaan by Rotana, Dubai, Al Ghurair Arjaan by Rotana, Dubai and Centro Capital Centre, Abu Dhabi.

Rotana developments planned for 2012 and 2013 include:

UAE – Dubai
Al Ghurair Rayhaan by Rotana – October 2012 – 5-star 428 rooms
Al Ghurair Arjaan by Rotana – October 2012 – 5-star adjoining the Rayhaan 5-star 198 apartments

UAE – Abu Dhabi
Centro Capital Centre – October 2012 – 414 rooms
Capital Centre Rotana – 3rd Quarter 2013 – 300 rooms
Capital Centre Arjaan by Rotana – 2013 – 259 rooms

UAE – Al Ain
Hili Rayhaan by Rotana – 2013 – 200 rooms

Qatar
City Centre Rotana –  2013 – 5-star 400 rooms

Bahrain
Majestic Arjaan by Rotana – 4th Quarter 2012 – Five state-of-the art buildings with 128 apartments

Oman
