InterContinental Hotels Group’s (IHG) boutique hotel brand Hotel Indigo continues to grow in Germany, with the signing of Hotel Indigo Düsseldorf-Victoriaplatz. Earlier this year the Hotel Indigo Berlin-Centre Hardenbergstrasse became the first Berlin Indigo quickly followed by another property in the nearby Alexanderplatz.
Dusseldorf’s Indigo is located on the famous Kaiserswerther Strasse in the lively and trendy district of Pempelfort, which is known for its bars and restaurants. It was previously the Lindner Rhein Residence and will re-open in 2013. The city’s major tourist attractions, cultural sites and boutique fashion shopping areas are all within walking distance as is the Victoriaplatz/Klever Strasse underground station.
Every Hotel Indigo features a high quality bar and restaurant that is open to both guests and locals. All Hotel Indigo properties in Europe offer free wi-fi throughout the hotel as a brand standard, plus 24-hour room service and access to a gym.
Currently there are 46 Hotel Indigo hotels around the world and 52 under development with planned openings in the next three to five years. In Europe there are currently nine Hotel Indigo hotels, with 11 more in the pipeline. www.hotelindigo.com
