Passengers on all Virgin Atlantic services are now experiencing a refreshed and upgraded dining experience offering restaurant style service.
Following hot on the heels of the airline’s new Economy and Upper Class meal changes, the emphasis is again on providing a meal that looks and tastes just like something you would enjoy at your favourite brasserie on the ground, according to the airline. The chinaware has a new look, stainless steel cutlery is provided and main meals are now served on linen with a linen napkin.
The famous salt and pepper shakers in the shape of miniature aeroplanes have also made a comeback due to popular demand. Originally in Upper Class, the condiments were replaced earlier in the year with a unique design inspired by a classic cocktail shaker and now Premium Economy will enjoy the iconic pots, famously inscribed with “pinched from Virgin Atlantic” to deter light fingered passengers.
With a 38” seat, priority boarding and dedicated check in, the Premium Economy fits in nicely for the cost-conscious business traveller or leisure travellers looking for a more relaxed way to travel. Price-wise expect to pay approximately twice the Economy fare and half that of Upper Class. www.virgin.com/atlantic
