Airbus and the Aviation Club

Readers are reminded that the closing date for booking Guillaume Faury, CEO of Airbus Group, is first thing Friday 7 October for the Wednesday 12 October event. 

With UK plants at Bristol and Chester, Airbus is a major contributor to the British aerospace industry.  Not that well known but Spirit, the one-time Shorts operation at Belfast, produces many of the structural components for the now highly successful Airbus A220 operation, once the Bombardier C series.

Faury, a keen private pilot, became CEO of Airbus in April 2019, taking over from Tom Enders.
