The ever-expanding portfolio of Wizz Air continues in spite of the fracas caused by its seemingly overnight disappearance from Doncaster Sheffield Airport and the about face regarding Moscow.

First announced back in the spring (see BTN 23 May Wizz Air expands – again). Wizz Air Malta has secured the services of Diarmuid Ó Conghaile, Managing Director of a new subsidiary due to be established later this year. He will take up the appointment in Valetta from 1 November, reporting to Michael Delehant, Group Chief Operating Officer.
Ó Conghaile brings over a decade of experience in the aviation industry to the role, having held senior leadership roles at Ryanair, Dublin Airport, and the Irish Aviation Authority. Most recently, he worked as the Aviation Regulator for the Irish Aviation Authority.

We look forward to benefiting from his industry experience and leadership skills.
