Jeffrey Goh goes at Star Alliance

On 15 July, it was announced that the CEO of the world's first, and currently largest, airline alliance will be stepping down after a five-year run. Departing for undisclosed reasons, a press statement notes that the alliance head will be leaving the position "to pursue other interests".

The genial and very approachable Jeffrey Goh took the lead at the Star Alliance in 2017 but had actually been part of the organization for ten years prior to becoming CEO.

Goh began his Star Alliance career in 2007 as General Counsel.

“On behalf of my colleagues across Star Alliance, I thank Jeffrey for his leadership and important contributions to Star Alliance and wish him well in his next endeavours”, said Scott Kirby, CEO, United Airlines and Chairman of the Chief Executive Board of the Star Alliance.

His replacement is yet to be confirmed.
