Norse introduces Orlando

London next!

New long-haul-only operator Norse Atlantic Airways (NBT) continues with its two-class Boeing 787 North Atlantic build-up with the introduction of Oslo – Orlando, a three times per week 9hrs 45mins flight.

The route joins Oslo to New York JFK (its first service 14 June) and Fort Lauderdale (18 June). Coming soon are Oslo – Los Angeles (9 August), Oslo – Gatwick – New York JFK (12 August), Berlin – New York JFK (17 August) and Berlin – Los Angeles (19 August).

Norse ‘Premium’ class is equivalent to Premium Economy on other airlines. The front cabin of its Boeing 787-9 aircraft is arranged with 56 more-spacious recliner seats. Seats are installed in a 2+3+2 configuration.  The luggage allowance depends on your ticket (Light, Classic and Plus are all Premium products) but every passenger is offered a small shoulder style bag for free.

For Economy passengers Norse offers three types of fares and a 31inch seat pitch with standard 3+3+3 layout:

  • Economy Light – which only lets you carry one small under-seat bag onboard. Changes can be made to your ticket for a $200 fee.
  • Economy Classic – includes a bag, one carry-on bag, one standard checked bag (up to 50lbs), one meal and the ability to change your ticket with a $100 fee.
  • Economy Plus—includes all perks of Economy Classic, plus seat selection, priority boarding and the ability to change or cancel your ticket with no fee.

Norse also offers passengers the option to order from a buy-on-board menu.
