Salt Lake to London

Capital of Utah, 4,000ft above sea level, and with a population of around 200,000, Salt Lake City is back on the Delta route map with flights to Heathrow.

At 4,866 miles (7,831km), the route is Delta's longest to the UK. The summer-seasonal offering will operate until 29 October, the last day of the aviation summer season.

Salt Lake City is the home of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, often informally known as the LDS Church or Mormon Church.

The route will be served daily, with 223-seat A330-200s, offering 34 Delta One suites, 21 seats in Premium Select, 24 in Comfort+, and just 144 in Main Cabin.

Its return means the SkyTeam carrier has seven non-stop destinations from Heathrow, joining Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Minneapolis, New York JFK, and Seattle.
