Jurys Inn goes

A brand established for 30 years and originally Dublin-based, Jurys Inn, is to be retired by its owner the Israeli Group Fattal.

Fattal, under the leadership of David Fattal, has announced plans to reflag all the existing properties as Leonardo.

The Group has gradually been expanding its presence in the UK, with Leonardo Hotel Bristol Glassfields opening in May 2021, and shortly the Leonardo Hotel Manchester Piccadilly, which will complement the Midland Hotel “where Rolls met Royce” which reopened its doors last October after a £14m transformation.  It was purchased by Fattal in 2018.

The Jurys Inn portfolio comprises 36 proprieties and globally there are 145 Leonardo hotels.

Jason Carruthers, Managing Director of Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels UK and Ireland, said: “The time was right” for the change and it was better for all the hotels to be “under one banner” as the group expands.

“It gives us so many advantages that we wouldn’t have with a split portfolio of hotels”, Carruthers added.
