It's a funny old world.
Yesterday Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady docked for the day at Las Palmas in the Canary Islands. The Editor-in-Chief went for a solo stroll to the very modern shopping centre near the dockside only for a raised voice to erupt. "Ginsberg, what are you doing here?" The other party was a well known and popular figure in the airline industry, as he put it "trying to get away incognito". He was on Silversea Silver Cloud en route from Barbados to Lisbon. Airline matters were not discussed.
The same has happened to MG several times around the globe. If you have a similar tale do let us know.

Tony Hesketh-Gardener,
Playing blackjack in the Bahamas I found myself alongside a large stetson whose owner was loudly lambasting one of the other players for making 'wrong calls'. During a change of croupiers I asked him where he was from in the States. "Do you know America?" "I know America". Do you know Texas?" "I know Texas". "Do you know Fort Worth?" "I know Fort Worth". "Which companies do you know in Fort Worth?" One of the three I named was Texas Instruments. "Who do you know best in Texas Instruments?” "Fred Clark". "I share an office with Fred Clark".
