Northolt’s extended hours

Royal Air Force Northolt (IATA: NHT, ICAO: EGWU), once suggested as an alternative to Heathrow for domestic services, and a popular executive jet base, will extend operating hours to seven days a week starting 1 June 2022.

“We commend the RAF for making this change, which is a huge win for Northolt and for business aircraft operators traveling to London,” said Sean Raftery, Regional Managing Director, Universal Aviation, who have operated the civil side of the airport since January 2021.

Northolt’s new weekend hours will be Saturday 08:00-15:00, Sunday 12:00-19:00.  Weekdays it is 08:00-20:00.

“Northolt is already an extremely popular London airport. Business aircraft operators love Universal Aviation’s level of service and safety combined with the airport’s lack of congestion, privacy, security, and most importantly, its great location. These extended hours are certainly going to make Northolt an even more attractive option for accessing London and everything to do here”.

RAF Northolt is the closest airport to Central London just 12.8 miles and 30min drive to Hyde Park.  Wembley Stadium is 8 miles away and Twickenham 11 miles).
