BA relaunches Gatwick *
On Tuesday 29 March at 06:25 the BA 2672 lifts off from Gatwick (South) to Larnaca (Cyprus), marking the launch of British Airways EuroFlyer and the start of a new era for the airline and airport.
During the day Amsterdam, Paphos and Tenerife South follow. BA long-haul moves across from the North Terminal on Monday 28 March.
The two-class Airbus A320 aircraft will offer the same on-board services as BA Heathrow mainline.
"All the BA team are super excited about BA short-haul returning to Gatwick. This is a great outcome for our customers and colleagues, and an excellent example of what can be achieved when businesses and trade unions work collaboratively", said Tom Stoddart, Managing Director of BA CityFlyer, a one time BA Captain based at Gatwick, and heading up the new operation.

I am a regular Economy user of London City and find the cabin service with free drinks fine. Let us hope this can be replicated with EuroFlyer.
