Dnata (Dubai National Air Travel Agency) has been appointed to manage easyJet’s inflight retail services across the airline’s extensive network.
Part of the Emirates Group dnata offers ground handling, cargo, travel, flight catering and retail services in 36 countries across six continents, partnering over 300 airline customers around the world.
Even as the pandemic hit financial year 2020-21, dnata handled 280,000 aircraft turnarounds, moved 2.6m tonnes of cargo, uplifted 16m meals, and recorded a total transaction value (TTV) of travel services of US$62m. Established in 1959, the company operates at over 120 airports.
EasyJet is the UK’s largest low-cost carrier and serves over 1,000 routes in more than 30 countries across Europe. Prior to Covid-19, in the year ended 30 September 2020 it moved 96m passengers and currently has a fleet of over 300 aircraft.
