BUSINESS TRAVEL NEWS *

What next?

As the proprietor of Business Travel News (BTN) approaches his 80th birthday (next October) he is carefully considering the future of what is probably one of the oldest publications of its type in the world.  BTN was established as ABTN (Air & Business Travel News), a fortnightly tabloid in the 1980s, purchased by Malcolm Ginsberg a decade later, and with the coming of the internet developed in its present form around the turn of the century.

As owner and Editor-in-Chief, Ginsberg would like to hand on BTN to a like-minded investor who might wish to use MG’s vast knowledge and contacts in the travel industry, or let him fade away.

How long is piece of string?

Jeff Singer, Enfield

We shall miss your caustic comments. How long before a new person takes over?

John Jones, West Ham

Well done Ginsberg for all those years of service. Let us hope the new owner can carry on fresh!
