Two immediate dates for the diary.
London will host two major gatherings of airline and aviation related people over the next couple of weeks.
First off tomorrow (Tuesday 8 March), at the Royal Institute of British Architects in Portland Place near the BBC, is Airlines UK which will see Aviation Minister Robert Courts address a very distinguished audience including the what might be termed the ‘top brass’ of civil aviation in Britain – operators, civil servants and politicians. Virtually every British-registered air carrier is expected to be represented.
The following Tuesday (15 March) at a similar notable venue, The Royal Automobile Club in Mayfair, will see in what is described as a ‘fireside’ chat with Ed Bastian, CEO of Delta Airlines, in conversation with Karl Brünjes, Chairman of the Aviation Club. He will be taking questions from guests as well.
