Travel Hashtag Piccadilly

Tuesday 1 March is the day.

Two of BTN’s familiar contributors, Chris Tarry (Ctaria) and Ian Dockreay (Equator Learning) will join Sir Rocco Forte as panellists for Travel Hashtag at Granaio, Piccadilly, London.

Travel Hashtag, a travelling series of events exploring the latest trends and future visions for tourism, closed the 2021 season in Abu Dhabi during November.

"After successfully bringing our format to the United Arab Emirates, we are now ready to make our debut in one of the world's most electrifying capitals", explains Nicola Romanelli, creator and Chairman of Travel Hashtag. "It will be a tailor-made edition for the UK market, hosted at one of London's most prestigious venues, the Granaio, formerly the Criterion Restaurant, one of the oldest and most beautiful venues in London located near the famous Statue of Eros on Piccadilly Circus.

An invited audience will be drawn from leading figures in international travel and tourism including representatives from tourism bodies, associations, governments, hotel companies and airlines. Travel agencies and tour operators together with other travel companies and the trade press will also be well represented.

"The enthusiasm for our event amongst the travel industry and press in the UK has been such that we will look to return again’’, explains Gianni Leone, Managing Director of Travel Hashtag and familiar to many in the travel industry as Air Alitalia’s man in London, "it is really wonderful to be able to stage such a special occasion so soon after restrictions have been lifted in the UK".
