The Travel Festival

BTN contributor Simon Calder, Travel Correspondent for The Independent, will be joining the morning panel session at the new Travel Festival at London’s Royal Geographical Society, Sunday 27 March.

“Travel In A Post-Pandemic World” is  supported by The Times and The Sunday Times, and starts on the Saturday (26 March), is organised by the same team as Destinations: The Holiday & Travel Show.

It promises to be a very interesting weekend at the famous Kensington venue, Calder joined by Paul Goldstein, guide, award-winning photographer and conservationist, chaired by Lyn Hughes, Founding Editor of Wanderlust Travel Magazine.

The highlight of the Saturday’s programme will be another panel, the Murdoch publications represented by Duncan Craig Travel Editor (Chair), Chris Haslam, Chief Travel Editor, Sue Byrant, Cruise Editor and Jenny Coad, Deputy Travel Editor.

Trailfinders is much involved with the weekend which will also feature Alberta Tourism, British Colombia Tourism, Exodus Travels, G Adventures, Oceania Cruises, South African Tourism, Spanish Tourism, Tourism Authority of Thailand and Visit Oman.
