Swissport International has opened its second Aspire lounge at Manchester Airport on 1 February. Swissport says that it complements the travel technology innovations and state-of-the-art facilities of the recently expanded Terminal 2 with the modern design and comfort of Aspire.
The new lounge is its second in the airport and clearly strengthens Swissport’s position as the largest airline-independent airport lounge provider in Europe.
The 240m2 lounge offers a relaxing atmosphere for 81 guests. Visitors enjoy complimentary food and beverages in a modern, bright setting with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the busy airfield.
Lounge amenities also include a fully equipped business area with desk booths allowing travellers to work in privacy and tranquillity.
The Aspire lounge is open daily from 05:00 to 13:00. and on weekends from 04:00 to 13:00.
Friday 18 February has now been set for the re-opening of the lounge in Heathrow T3 and readers will be reminded in next week's BTN and via TWITTER.
Swissport currently operates some 60 lounges at 35 airports worldwide and welcomes more than 5m passengers per year. New Aspire lounges are opening soon in Perth (Australia), Kilimanjaro (Tanzania) and Ontario (California, USA).
