Following the collapse of Crystal Cruises (See BTN 22 January), the well-named 6-star luxury cruise liner Crystal Symphony (not Sympathy) quicky docked at the Bahamian Island of Bimini.
The wealthy passengers were immediately taken by ferry to Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale.
“We all feel we were abducted by luxurious pirates!” passenger Stephen Heard Fales posted on Facebook.
Passengers and entertainers on board said on social media that they were surprised with the news, and sympathised with the worried crew stuck in the Caribbean.
