With a bit of luck the British-Irish Airports EXPO will be one of the first events to take advantage from the opening of the Elizabeth Line.
(see in this week’s BTN).The 5th edition of the event, postponed from last year, takes place at ExCeL London on 22-23 June.
The exhibition will follow the same formulae as in previous years but with much emphasis on “greening up” airports and more and more use being made with electric buses for airside passenger transportation.
COBUS will for 2022 join Volvo Buses and Pelican Bus and Coach, the UK distributor of Yutong with electric apron buses on display. The e.COBUS has recently been on trials at Glasgow Airport where duties included transporting delegates during COP26.
