After what can only be described as “unrest” in Kazakhstan, as viewed on TV around the globe, Air Astana has returned to what it calls “a full service”.The national airline, 49% owned by BAe Systems Plc, based in the commercial capital Astana, has fully restored its network of domestic and international services. Regular flights are now the order of the day to Antalya, Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), Colombo, Dubai, Dushanbe (Tajikistan), London, Male and Phuket. It also has an extensive domestic network.
Air Astana has additionally revised its re-booking and refund policy regarding tickets for flights scheduled before 31 January. Passengers are permitted to change the departure date to any day before 28 February or apply for a full refund at least 24 hours prior to the original departure date.
