Whilst clearly not to the same scale as pre-pandemic Norwegian, still a UK-registered airline, offers what it calls ‘flights to the Nordics’, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden from Edinburgh, Gatwick and Manchester airports, at very competitive prices.Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm are served from Edinburgh whilst the airline’s largest base, Gatwick, offers Bergen, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Tromso, Trondheim and Stockholm.
In November, Norwegian carried 1,005,380 passengers, compared with 124,481 in November last year. Compared to November 2020, the total capacity (ASK) has increased by 541% and passenger traffic (RPK) is up 1007%.
In addition, the load factor in November was 76.6%.
