BA Gatwick
Following persistent rumours, British Airways has confirmed that it is to return to Gatwick with a full European programme from March.
The national airline already has a limited long-haul programme to the Caribbean and Qatar from Gatwick.
Following the success of BA CityFlyer at London City Airport a new carrier, BA EuroFlyer, will operate as an independent stand-alone airline marketed as British Airways and will be based at Gatwick South with its convenient road and rail access.
A two-class operation, Club Europe clients will receive complimentary food and drink and Euro Traveller customers who want to order additional food will benefit from access to the airline’s ‘Speedbird Café’, which features a selection of products from a range of British brands.
