PLAY, Iceland’s new low-cost airline with the bright red paintwork, will introduce Dublin from Reykjavik’s Keflavík International Airport in the spring.
Also announced at the same time are twice a week services to Brussels with flights beginning in May and to Madrid in June.
Madrid will be PLAY’s seventh destination in Spain. The airline, which made its inaugural flight 24 June 2021 operates four new Airbus A320 series neo aircraft with four more on order.
PLAY currently operates flights to Alicante, Barcelona, Gran Canaria and Tenerife, and will add Malaga and Mallorca to the schedule next year.
With these latest additions, PLAY will fly to 23 destinations in Europe next year. Last month, the airline announced four new destinations in Europe – Bologna, Lisbon, Prague and Stuttgart.
