Still very much dependent on the UK for its operation, Ryanair is opening 24 new routes from Britain next summer.
With these additions it flies to over 500 destinations in Europe.
New for the airline a Chania, Madeira and Menorca. It says its commitment to the UK and the rebuilding of the country’s tourism industry is playing a key role in the recovery of local jobs and economy.
Having added 560 new routes and opened 14 bases throughout the last 12 months, Ryanair is now looking ahead to next year when it receives 65 Boeing Max aircraft which offer 4% more seats, 16% less fuel and a 40% reduction in noise emissions than the previous generation of Boeing 737. It also says that it is adding to its green credentials, launching electric handling at 11 major European airports a significant investment in its sustainable operations.
