Expected to be the largest gathering of the air transport industry since the start of the pandemic, Airlines 2021 takes place at the QE Centre Westminster next Monday (22 November). The day starts with a keynote speech by Luis Gallego, Chief Executive, International Airlines Group, followed by a group discussion with Dr Rannia Leontaridi, Director for Aviation, Department for Transport; Tim Alderslade, Chief Executive, Airlines UK; Dale Keller, Chief Executive; The Board of Airline Representatives in the UK (BAR UK), Simon McNamara, UK & Ireland Country Manager, International Air Transport Association (IATA).
During the day attendees will hear from amongst others Willie Walsh of IATA, Jonathan Hinkles, Loganair, and Robert Courts, the Aviation Minister. Pieter Elbers, President and CEO, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, will put an overseas perspective on the matter. The final speaker of what will be a very full eight hours is Shai Weiss, Chief Executive of Virgin Atlantic.
