Return of the Red Eye

The lifting of the USA travel ban and revival of the early morning arrivals at Heathrow is being used with initiative by the travel industry.

Hotel platform Dayuse (another clever name – see AND FINALLY in this week's BTN) is highlighting its programme to offer business travellers a way to ensure they arrive refreshed and prepared for their day ahead.

Ideal for early morning arrivals, the platform allows users to book hotel rooms and suites during the day.  Guests have access to all the hotel's facilities, including spa and wellness areas, along with meeting rooms and restaurants, providing a valuable space to work and unwind after a long flight.  Dayuse operates in over 26 countries, 500 cities, and has more than 7,000 hotel partners across the globe.

Using Heathrow T5 as an example Dayuse has come up with three hotels who offer the service.

Radisson RED Heathrow
The Radisson RED Heathrow is the first of its kind in England. Refurbished only last year, the hotel comprises an Executive Lounge and Health Club ensuring business and leisure guests can prosper.  Guests with Dayuse check in from 10:00 and have access to the property's 41 meeting rooms.  Only 15 minutes from London, guests can be in the capital with ease, whether they are required in the office or for post-work drinks.

Sheraton Skyline
Touch down early and transfer to the Sheraton Skyline for check in at 08:00. Rest a weary head briefly in the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed and soundproofed rooms or re-energise with a quick session in the gym before checking emails over breakfast in the restaurant.

Sofitel London Heathrow
The Sofitel London Heathrow enjoys direct access from LHR's Terminal 5 so business travellers can expect to be in the lobby within minutes. Check in with Dayuse from 08:00 and head straight to the Vivre for breakfast as the sun rises above the runway.  Spend some valuable downtime in-room and prepare for the day ahead.
